Visitor Visa

Visitors come to Canada every year to view the natural beauty and to visit friends and family. A visitor's visa is required by foreign nationals wishing to travel through or into Canada. It depends on your citizenship whether or not you need a temporary resident visa. To transit through or fly to Canada if you do not need a visa, you will need an electronic travel authorization (eTA) except for US citizens and people with valid Canadian visas.

This program requires visitors to Canada to meet the following requirements :

Travel documents and passports must be valid.
Health of the applicant must be positive.
Criminal background checks are required for admission to Canada.
To be eligible for studying in Canada, a student must demonstrate sufficient financial resources.
An Immigration office should be able to verify the applicant's intention to depart Canada at the end of their visit.
A family member or friend can send an invitation to them if they have any.
